Business Opportunities Seminar - Spring 2023

The Resource Mobilization and Partnerships Department (FIRM) of the African Development Bank will hold its first edition of the 2023 Online Business Opportunities Seminar (BOS).

The Seminar will offer individual consultants and consulting firms, civil contractors, manufacturers, suppliers, and diplomatic commercial attachés, in the Bank Group's member countries, an opportunity to learn about providing goods and services or partnering with the AfDB Bank Group.

Bank experts will present about the Bank Group’s strategy, policies, and operations, as well as procurement rules and procedures. These will be followed by thematic roundtables led by key sector representatives to discuss ongoing and future activities in Regional Member countries and answer the participants' questions and inquiries.

The seminar will be held over three days:

• DAY 1: Wednesday, April 12, will accommodate Africa, Europe, and Americas time zones. Interpretation services will be provided in English, French and Portuguese languages.
• DAY 2: Thursday, April 13, will accommodate Asia and Oceania Regions time zones and it will be delivered in English language.
• DAY 3: Friday, April 14, the country Office in Mozambique will hold a Mozambique featured BOS that will be presented in Portuguese. Interpretation services will be provided in English and Portuguese languages.

We recommend you read and watch the presentations available on the website (bos.afdb.org/materials) to gain an understanding of the work of the different sectors at the Bank. This will prepare you for effective interactions with sector representatives during the roundtable (session III).
